On Sunday, April 27, Spooner took Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex at the Penn Treaty Kennel Club (AKC) at Ludwigs Corner under Judge Dr. Sophia Kaluzniacki. Delaware Water Gap: On December 15, 2007, Spooner was entered in his first AKC show at 6 months of age. His debut performance was impressive, taking Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite over a male special, for a 4 point major and then on to a Puppy Group 2 win in the herding group.
